I guess Capcom would rather stick to their plan of releasing the same games over and over with minor upgrades than trying to release unique and groundbreaking games.
Even at that, the only thing they churn out with consistency are the GBA/DS Megaman games.
Yeah, that's how I feel, too. It may just be a lack of patience on my part, though.Originally Posted by Yoska

I like it. The only problems with me are the text and the voices.
Blockbuster finally had a copy in today. They ordered a new copy since the previous person to check it out never returned it.
I rented it, and it has been awesome so far. The scenery alone is breath-taking, and the uses for the brush are very creative.
I have yet to get to this onigiri master character.

I'm kinda skeptical, since Clover is not around anymore.
If its even a third as awesome as the one for the PS2/Wii then it'll be AMAZING. Damn. This really just made my day!
It could be a joke,
And then I would be sad.
Because I love Okami.
The cunning ones kneel before six masters, but serve only one.
Piece of shit Japanese guy:
"Hey! Let's take a fucking AMAZING title that has a HUGE following despite being one that everyone assumed would be dead and instead of bringing it out on the most popular next generation platform that is DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR MOTION-FEEDBACK let's put it on an inferior platform."
Piece of shit Japanese guy who owns a company:
"Fuck yeah bitch! Shit worked for DQ9!"
A DS game about Okamas?! Fuck yeah, I'm gonna totall--
Oh, wait, Okami... Never mind...
If they can put Zelda on the DS, then they can do Okami. As long as they don't have any damn temple you keep having to go back to again and again and again.
So many people in the world. And so many bullets. Lots and lots of bullets.
I meant it in the sense that the gameplay lends itself to be designed for a system with feedback like Wii. I'm sorry for the confusion. But wasn't the first game originally made for the PS2 which didn't have motion feedback?
I don't think anyone's saying they can't do it. They totally can. They can do whatever they want.If they can put Zelda on the DS, then they can do Okami.

Oct 2008Aren't you over-reacting?
You should be well adjusted to my over the top and uncessary diatribes on video games by now.
Huh. Well, I'm not going to judge this game untill we get some more information.
as a big fan of the original game. I gotta agree with you here Greg.
Seriously, what a terrible idea. Let's take the most appealing aspect about the original game and completely downgrade it.
Yeah I know the touch screen would work well along with the celestial brush mechanic, but it means jack to me if it doesn't look good.
I don't like to rule out games based on graphics. But Okami has always been an exception. The reason I bought the damn game wasn't because I could make wind blow, or trees grow, or cut enemies with a brushstroke... It was because all that LOOKED AWESOME!
What next capcom? Godhand for the DS as a tactics game?

I did enjoy the gameplay more than the plot or the art, I haven't tried the wii version of okami yet, so I can't say much about it, but I hope that the action still stops when you are using your brush techniques..
Why are you guys whining? Those screens look pretty fucking good.

I'm amazed at just how skeptical and angry some people are being all over the place about this. I figured people would be up in joy about it with the whole stylus thing.
Also, Greg. Wasn't Okami ported to the Wii already?
I dunno it looks cool, and the stylus should work well.
