The Sanders campaign has apparently suspended some social media ad buys.

Sanders is prepping to drop out, since the math is even more not there than it was two weeks ago, and the whole plague thing has kind of put a cramp in campaigning... but he does want to keep the venue for being able to say things that need saying during an actual crisis.

Bernie's been winding down for at least a week, he's just trying to leverage his platform into a more liberal Democratic platform. Which I'm fine with. This should go a lot smoother than 2016 with any luck.

Why does he need to stay in to get concessions from Biden? Biden just took two policy agenda items from Warren's platform the day before the debate and she dropped out a couple weeks ago.

Yes, this. The same thing he did with Hillary. Candidates always stay in to force cabinet positions from the frontrunner. But because Bernie is such an awesome guy he only wants policy concessions that improve people's lives.
As an added bonus, adopting a populist policy makes Biden more electable vs. Trump. I don't think Biden's donors will ever allow him to support medicare for all though. Nor will his pride let him ditch Obamacare.

Why would he have to ditch Obamacare? Obamacare's INTENT was to be medicare for all. It just got super watered down to pass the republicans.

People keep parroting this line as if this actually means anything. Biden, for all intents and purposes, is going to be a one term president. There is literally nothing stopping him from nuking the insurance industry after taking their money if he so chooses. They will absolutely try and hammer the democrats in down-ballot races and try and flip the house in the midterms in this scenario, but they'd do that under a different president who didn't take their money anyway.

Also, Biden is pro overturning Citizens United and will put justices on the court who could help make PACs history.
