    So it finally happened, huh? Kirk was one of, if not the last surviving major actor from the Golden Age of Hollywood. But hey, he lived a good long life.

    Katherine Johnson, a NASA mathematician featured in the movie "Hidden Figures", whose orbital mechanics calculations were crucial to the success of the first crewed spaceflights, passed away on Monday at age 101.

    Awww, that really sucks. My parents love him, so I grew up listening to his music, especially around Christmas time.

    Man, 39 albums and 80 singles. And also some acting. What a career.

    Apparently, his co-star in D-Day, Rishi Kapoor, died of leukemia just a day later (yesterday), so I added him too.

    Also, this is another retroactive one from during AP's downtime: famous Japanese comedian Ken Shimura passed away at age 70 on March 29. Another COVID victim, sadly.
