The first season of Bob's Burgers had an actual DVD release sometime after season one ended, but from season two onward DVD's are only available through Amazon's DVD on demand (in which they burn episodes onto a disc). I'm not certain if this was Fox's decision due to low sales (unconfirmed) or something else, I know that Amazon did this for several Nick properties (mainly their Nicktoons) until Shout! Factory got the rights and put them on actual mass produced DVDs. That is probably the reason there is no Blu-ray release of Bob's Burgers (no denying that it's a good show though) and this was before Netflix and Hulu became streaming giants with their own original content and the like.

Looking forward to Nebulandia tomorrow. Will watch the special features first thing and report back if there’s any new information on them.

Special features are just ten minutes of Ian speaking with the main villain of the special. Won’t watch special until tonight. Enjoy, folks who’ve purchased!

Nitpick- there’s like 0% visual consistency with these covers’ spines. The new special has a blue stripe on the top, but the last two have red stripes. Not to mention how Heart Of Gold didn’t even follow the font and formatting. Then Episode of Sabo has a fancy font, but Nebulandia has a standard font. Obviously, these are stupid nitpick gripes, but I imagine anime fans, collectors, would prefer design consistency, and it doesn’t seem like so hard a thing for funimation’s cover designers to do...

Not that it matters all that much, but did they get the original theme song or is it substituted with We Go! like on the stream?

    It's We Go!

Also Hamburg is now voiced by Garret Storms and Tsuru is now voiced by Pam Dougherty

There was another song that was replaced? I don't recall this.

Darn, they did recast Tsuru. Oh well.

What happened with Tsuru's old VA?

Fun special. Nothing great, content-wise. The dub was all around handled well, though. I like the first half hour best; the last hour and a half drags a bit. Tsuru’s new voice is good; I prefer Hamburg’s old voice—that actor was funnier, had a more interesting pitch, and better deliveries. Not that we’ll ever hear this character again.

She retired, and possibly moved elsewhere.

In Japan the theme was 'Black Make Up' by Namie Amuro (spoilers in the video).

Yes, and all international dubs as well, I believe.

Luckily, the song is only played during the credits, so it’s like the smallest of deals.

Man, I loved Heart of Gold. I wonder why more specials can’t be that good. Get writers on who would otherwise be writing a movie. I love these tv specials because they serve in the place of filler and bring us feature-lengthed OP more often.

Maybe I'm reading to much into this, but one of the special features on the upcoming Episode of East Blue release is a documentary on the 20th anniversary of One Piece featuring the dub cast and staff, which to me doesn't seem like something they'd do if they are going the cancel the dub.

I went to Wal Mart tonight, and they had an 20th Anniversary boxset for One Piece (It's a Wal Mart exculsive). The boxset covers the first four collections (Episodes 1 - 103) and it also comes with a free t-shirt. If you don't have any boxsets of the series, its best way to start collecting.

Whoa... Pics? Different looking from the Amazon ones or the same thing?

Walmart did something similar with a movie pack a few years ago. It had film Z and strong world in one package/case. It’s cool to hear that they’re doing more; I’ll have to stop by Walmart sometime to take a look. What’s frustrating is I can’t seem to find collections 15 through 17 on DVD for under $20. I’ve had a hole in my double dipped collection for a while now.

The box art is very different from the amazon boxset. Since it have all the Straw Hats (including Franky and Brook) in their time skip outfits.

    It looks nice!

Last week, I bought the OP Collections 1-4 and Film Z used from SecondSpin when they had the buy 2 get the 3rd for $1 sale. They came in the mail yesterday and Collections 1 and 4 didn't include the paper slip covers. >< Oh well, at least they came to $40-50, which is a pretty damn good deal. My cheap-ass won't buy new DVDs/BluRays unless they're limited editions or on sale.
