    Not exactly related to Reach, but here's what one of the employees at Bungie said about their new IP after finishing off Halo and leaving it to MS

    Bungie has told CVG that it is in a better position than ever now it's moved fully into cross-platform development - and that the firm's new project can even out-do its classic Halo games.

    That's according to community man Brian Jarrard, who told CVG last week that "there's not anything holding us back now".He said: "I think Bungie is better poised now to do great things than we ever have been in the history of our studio, just in terms of our infrastructure, our new office, our team are at over 180 employees now, our Activision partnership, the creative control that we have, our freedom, our funding...

    "There's not anything holding us back now," he said. "It's up to us to sink or swim and execute our own destiny, really try and bring our next big universe to life."

    The Bungie man said that the firm can hopefully "even out-do what we've done in the last few years," and "try and define a brand new type of gaming for a decade to come". Bold stuff.

    In the same interview Jarrard revealed that about 98% of Bungie have now stopped work on Halo.

    "We're going to have a team that's supporting Reach beyond launch obviously and those guys are actively doing stuff now to get matchmaking ready for launch," he said.

    While we're on the subject of Reach, stick your eyes on our just-published interview with creative director Marcus Lehto. Interesting fella.

    Yea by private owned store. If you check my games you can see the dates showing I had them before the release date.

    If you liked Halo 3, I guarantee you'll prefer this infinitely times more. Well, I did. I was suffering from withdrawal after the BETA ended :(

    I think Halo's main selling point isn't necessarily its strong, fleshed out and dynamic online/splitscreen multiplayer component, but its crazy amount of consistent features and customization and shit that just adds to the insane replay value and make it a fun game for non-shooter fans as well.

    It might be the first time I'll find myself playing more on modes like Firefight, Forge, or Custom Games rather than Competitive MP.

    I always liked Halo and I did get to play Reach the beta and played it at E3 so I know I am gonna like it.

    I love playing Multiplayer with friends.

    Holy dick you played it at E3? Nice. Any significant differences you felt from the E3 build, after having played the BETA? I read many changes were made, but I wanna know about the overall feel..

    And yeah, nothing screams fun like getting a couple of friends online or at your home, get some snacks, beer etc. and pulling Halo all-nighters on Custom Games like Infection, Grifball and shit. More shooters need splitscreen and co-op.

    The game now officially has a soul.

    I always had issues with the lack of a real motivator in them games...

    Reach just seems so personal.

    You can now have unlimited ammo without reloading, as confirmed via a FF video on IGN.

    In other words, bottomless clips. Shooting without reloading. Sounds fun. Just like being able to have infinite armor abilities. Note this is only for custom games, forge and firefight, tho.
