Devil's Fruits (悪魔の実)
Devil's Fruits play a central role in the story of One Piece: anyone who eats one gains superhuman powers, but will be cursed by the sea and unable to swim forever. There are three basic types of Devil's Fruit which tend to vary in degrees of power:
Marine scientists of the Grand Line, most notably Dr. Vegapunk, developed the method of allowing objects to "eat" a devil's fruit. He also discovered how the powers transfer to the devourer as well as the consequence of eating two fruits - It will cause the body to explode and disappear without a trace. Thanks to his research, some secrets of the devil's fruits have been unveiled.
Paramecia (パラミシア)
The devil's fruit alters the form of the body itself. An example of this is Luffy's fruit, the Gomu Gomu fruit, which turns his body into rubber.
Zoan (ゾオン)
A Zoan devil's fruit allows the eater to turn into an animal; usually being able to take their full normal form, a hybrid form, and a full form of the Zoan type. Zoan fruits have been used in interesting ways in One Piece; from an animal eating the "Human" fruit and becoming more human, to an inanimate object "eating" an inu inu fruit and gaining the abilities of a dog. The strongest type of Devil's Fruits in regards to close combat.
Logia (ロギア)
Logia fruits are the most powerful family of devil's fruit and they allow the user to completely transform into the element that the Logia fruit represents. Examples of this are Ace's fire fruit, Eneru's lightning fruit or Crocodile's Sand fruit.
Paramecia Fruits (超人系の実)
Gomu: Rubber / "Gomu" ゴム - rubber, gum

Description: Turns the user into rubber.
Bara Bara: Scattered; disperse; disconnected; in pieces

Description: Enables the user to disconnect his body parts at will.
Sube Sube: Smooth, silky

Description: Gives the user smooth skin which can deflect or slip away many attacks.
Bomu: Bomb

Description: Allows the user to create and harness explosive energy. Every part of the body can be made explosive - even one's breath.
Kilo: Kilo (Kilogram)

Description: Allows the user to control their weight, from 1 Gram to 10,000 Kilograms.
Hana: Flower
User: Nico Robin
Description: Allows the sprouting of limbs from any surface.
Doru: The ending of Candle ("Kyandoru" キャンドル)

Description: Gives the user the ability to create and shape wax.
Baku Baku: Sound effect for chomping

Description: Turns the user into a living food factory: Can eat anything, and process it to a weapon stage.
Mane: Copy, mimic, imitate
User: Mr. 2 Bon Kurei
Description: Gives the user the ability to mimic the bodies of anyone touched. The user must, however, have had some physical contact with the person. Bon Kurei changes his body by touching his cheek with his right hand, and changes back with his left.
Supa Supa: Sound effect for slicing or cutting

Description: Turns the user into steel, which may be shaped into blades at will

Description: Turns the user into a living briar patch, with the ability to sprout thorns strong enough to break walls.
Ori: Cage

Description: Turns the user's body into a prison: Anything that passes through the eater's body is jailed in steel manacles.
Bane: Spring

Description: Turns the user into a living spring.
Noro Noro: Slowly
User: Foxy the Silver Fox
Description: Allows the user to create and use "Noro Noro Photons" that slow any object down by thirty seconds.
Doa: Door
User: Blueno
Description: Turns the user into a living door. The user can make anything a door, and be able to "cross over" to any place like a portal. Blueno was also able to create a doorway into a place that can't be seen by people; a place to watch his opponent and plan his next move should he ever be in danger.
Awa: Bubble

Description: Gives the user the ability to manipulate bubbles. These bubbles are so relaxing, they sap the strength of those in contact with them. The user may also use the bubbles as a defensive shield by creating a giant solid bar of soap as protection. Another power of the Awa Awa Fruit is changing the form of another person by making them extremely clean, shiny, and smooth. This altered form makes it difficult to grip objects or even the floor.

Description: Allows the user to rust anything.

Description: Turns the user into multiple wheels.
Yomi: Underworld

Description: Its powers not apparent until death, it gives the user a second life. The soul has to return to the body. In Brook's case when he came back from the underworld, he was unable to find his body for a year, causing his skeleton appearance.
Kage: Shadow
User: Gecko Moria
Description: Allows the user to grab shadows and hold them as a physical object. A human subject to shadow theft will sucuumb to unconsciousness for up to 3 days. Shadows can then be inserted into a marionette, allowing animation. Shadows must agree to a pact which they will follow as a Zombie. Zombies will adopt the personality of the shadow but will slowly become an obedient soldier through time.
