Sick, it's a really charming & often understated series and deserves the accolade.

    That's great!
I know this manga doesn't have the potential to be a real money-maker anime, but do you guys think it could be adapted?
A Mushishi style anime would be amazing.

I'd love to see that. This series lives from its tone though. The surrounding is a bland fantasy world, fights are short. The studio who'd make it has to put everything into the character interactions.

is it really understated ? I have yet to read a bad review about it and it was an immediate success in sale so what makes you wrote that ?

I said understated, not underrated. It's just not super flashy for the most part is what I meant.

Ooooh man. I love how Frieren is utterly overwhelming but still in her calm, low-key manner. Can't wait for the next chapter !

They sure look down on Frieren, don´t they? I am really liking the oldman though, I hope he manages to pass the test too.

I wonder if the surge of demons has something to do with Serie. I wonder if she is reviving them to keep the war ongoing as she may not feel comfortable in a peaceful era.

Denken continues being great, hoping he tags along since he also wants to go to the north.

Also, I am surprised that the guy from his team that was so eager to kill works in what seems to be a regular magic shop.

Maybe he is bored with his life and craved excitement. He felt that being allowed to kill without being punished by the law could provide it.

That could be it, though I completely forgot that the teacher of Frieren´s teacher is also offering any magic they want to those who manage to achieve first class.

I am really liking most of these new characters, I hope some of them stick around after the test is over.
