True Blood (Spoilers for the tv series and the books)

Wow, I'm surpised there isn't a topic about this show. I just recently begin watching the series from borrowing the Season 1 boxset from my friend. It have really good storytelling. Sookie is a really interesting characters and same goes to Bill as well. Its also funny to watch Jason getting pwned whenever it happens.

I'm thinking about borrowing the books from my friend, when finished watching season 1. Since each book is a season of the show (for example book 1 is Season 1, etc. And there are 9 books so far.).

Just finished watching Season 1. I didn't expect Rene of all people to be the murder. I should've figure out a lot earlier when Sookie was attack at the bar.

But man, Season 1 ended with some big cliffhangers like Lafayette being mysteriously kidnapped, and who foot is in Andy's car. I can't wait to watch Season 2 now.

I'm in love with True blood. Season 2 is alright but I dont like it as much as Season 1

The sucky thing is that I have to wait a while until the Season 2 boxset to come out to see Season 2. xD. I'm planning to borrow the books from my friend soon (Since he owns the first 5 books of the series).

I'm half way done reading book 1 of the Sookie Stackhouse novels, "Dead Until Dark". So far there is a lot of difference between the book and True Blood Season 1. One of the major difference is that Tara isn't in book 1 and they change a lot of the Jason stuff as well. Beside those difference and few minor things. It felt the same to me so far. (In the book, I just finished the 2nd meeting with Eric scene with the bartender getting killed at Fangtasia.)

Yes, this is that show. And thank god that didn't happen in the book.

I have heard interesting stuff about this. Seems like our equivalent is Being Human.
I'll try & check this out, the gorgeous Anna Paquinn herself makes it worthwile, alone.

Anna is really beauitful as Sookie of what I have seen of the show so far (I have only seen all of Season 1). I'm going to try finished reading book 1 tonight (I only got like 2 or 3 chapters left to read). I'll start book 2 tomarrow.

Season 1 was fuckin awesome.
Last season, Sookie started to get on my nerves and the storyline wasn't as strong, but it was funny as hell, especially Jason's subplot.

Been trying to watch Season 1, up to Episode 5, but sadly spoiled myself with some things :(

Just finished Club Dead. I absolutely love this series. I'd thought the guy who killed Jerry Falcon would have been Alcide !
And there would be a twist at the end with him, never even considered something as simply as Bubba !

Sad Bill & Sookie broke up. I know of this already, but I don't want SookEric :(

Just begin watching Season 2 via dvd. The first episode of Season 2 is interesting showing the aftermath of the events of the ending of Season 1 with the Miss Jaiance death etc.

Sookie and Bill storyline is pretty interesting so far as well both Sam, Tara, and Jason's indiviuals storylines as well.

I can't wait for June 14th(?) for Season 3, we're getting Crystal and Calvin etc !

Oh and Sam will be having sexual fantasies about Bill because he drank his blood.

I usually hate all things about this new Vampire mania that everyone in America seems to have but this show is actually really good...
