Some big news, the rest of the first season of Dino Fury is coming to Netflix on October 15th. Aleast, I know now I don't have to wake up at 7 am to watch the next set of Dino Fury episodes.

Season Two is so wild in how it edits so many different series together. Season Three even goes nuttier. I'm honestly beyond impressed and fascinated by the process and wish there was more in-depth looks at the process.

    Anyway, guess who's back again?!

I begin the 2nd batch of Dino Fury episodes. I only watch the first three episodes of this batch so far.

    Spoiler:
The two Izzy episodes that start off this batch were great episodes. I can't believe Zedd is back and I'm curious what's going to happened to him next. Also I like the new Zedd suit.

It would be really cool if they did re-union film/arcs. They don't even need get back entire teams, just selecting what personalities they like and asking those actors backs would be neat.

Kind of curious to see if they learned from the failures of the 2017 film. The action there was just so, so boring.

I remember a few years ago, both JDF and David (Tommy and Billy) wanted to do an reunion movie for MMPR with Amy (Kimberly) to direct it. I know, Amy begin directing some movies, the last couple of years.

That would be nice. Spending time on filming a nicely constructed little film would be really nice.

Speaking of Amy Jo Johnson. She's directing an episode for season two of Superman and Lois.

This isn't technically Power Rangers-related, but I suppose it would be the best place to put it.

I've been watching the Super Sentai series for quite a few years now and just recently finished Dekaranger. With that, I've seen every show from Fiveman to Dekaranger (15 in total). Still a long way to see every entry in the series, but honestly I'm loving the hell out of this journey. Yes, the show does recycle a lot of its tropes and character types, and the stories can get monotonous, but then how many different variations can you really have under this format? It's definitely not for everyone, but if you're interested in tokusatsu or kaiju stuff, I'd say it's at least worth a try.

Here's how I'd rank all the shows so far:

    S-Tier: Dairanger, Jetman, Dekaranger
    A-Tier: Megaranger, Abaranger, Timeranger
    B-Tier: Fiveman, Gingaman, Hurricaneger
    C-Tier: Kakuranger, Gaoranger, Carranger
    D-Tier: GoGoFive, Ohranger

As for Zyuranger, it's really hard for me to rank it fairly as it was my first Super Sentai and, of course, I have the nostalgia factor attached to it since I grew up with Power Rangers (and yeah, finally watching the "true" version of the show I watched growing up was quite an experience). I may rewatch it some day to see how it stacks up the other Super Sentai shows, but, objectively, I'd say it's gotta be at least a B rank.

Next up I think I'll be watching Turboranger as I do want to make through all the older series before watching Gokaiger.

Why is GogoFive so LOW? And Fiveman above it!?

Don't know what to tell you, but I just did not have a good experience with GoGoFive. In fact, it bored me so much I nearly gave up on Super Sentai altogether. I don't know, maybe I was just hitting burnout. But I will say the worst thing for a Super Sentai show for me is when the heroes have no personalities (same reason I didn't like Ohranger), and I don't think I could tell you a single thing about the GoGoFive team.

Fiveman, I honestly don't see that much wrong with it. It's not a great entry, but it's good. Of course, I suppose I am a sucker for the retro grainier aesthetic of the older shows.
