The only one that sounded a little different to me was Kid, but he had only one line during this trailer so I can't say for sure.

Looks fun. I’ll be curious how Daman Mills does; it’s hard to do a “deep buff man” voice without sounding typical, and I can’t tell too much from the trailer if his deliveries are creative enough to differentiate the voice. Every time a new movie comes out, I pray they’ll get a Shiki-level talent, so I’m here hoping.

Kidd did sound a bit different, but we’ll see in the movie. Justin Cook is such a big producer over there that I doubt he’d be one to mess up too bad. I’m going to watch Sabaody again once I finish the end of my Enies Lobby rewatch.

It appears that the Scotland Loves Animation convention is going to screen Stampede.

Oh, is that the reason for the delay?

Solicitations today. I've no expectation, if it does come in January, then it likely will be left off today, and added next week for the anniversary. We may get Stampede today though.

No leaks in the past week, which usually happens. Radio silence so far today. They might be holding off until the 20th. We'll see.

--- Update From New Post Merge ---

Listed early on RightStuf; no One Piece in sight.

I have to say this. Toei wont give up on dubbed One Piece. They are promoting the shit out of it on Trade Shows and Magazines and I doubt they would stop... Funimation or no Funimation.

The solicitations don't appear to be finished yet. I personally feel they are holding out for the 20th.

Why don't they "appear to be finished yet"?

My bad, they are finished for sure. Sunday is the day for them to announce this. Surely.

Not a peep from anyone. You’d think they’d maybe hype an announcement or something.

Guys I have news that could be both awesome but could mean the end of the Funimation dub. One Piece has gotten a new dub in Latin America and its probably coming to Netflix and Saint Seiya has ALSO come to Netflix and its gotten a shiny new dub by them... Which makes me afraid Netflix is indeed taking over.

Uh, English isn't the primary language in Latin America, and that's a whole nother region, so I don't think that affects Funimation at all.

I meant to say "Toei will probably give up all licenses to Netflix". Because Netflix isnt happy with just one region. No. They want the whole world outside of Asia.

Not even Netflix would want to dub the 900 episode behemoth that is One Piece. Saint Seiya is shorter and easier to digest for Netflix's streaming standards.

You are right. Sorry. I know Funimation wont give up the fight!
