I'm going full cynism and say that it's fake outrage. Far right people used Cuties as an example of "the left" being a bunch of pedophiles and proof of Netflix having a left bias, cultural marxism taking over, etc.

If anything, outside of the GOP critics have praised the film as a critique of sexualization in minors, which is what the director claims it's about. I've also seen plenty of claims of pedophilia by the same crowd against the contents of sex ed programs, so that's a precedent.

Those critics are probably pedos.

I think this is very important because we are faced with problems when marine and ocean animals die because of this garbage. Do you think countries need to band together to track and clean up these accumulations of plastic? I think this will help cleanse the world around us!
