The average Tokyo citizen's monthly bills:

    - Home Insurance
    - Car Insurance
    - Godzilla Insurance
    - Medical Insurance
    - Dental Insurance

Also, did anyone here enjoy watching the 2000 film with Matthew Broderick?

Godzilla is a great series. Except for the 'murican one in '98.
Say, didn't the real Godzilla beat the snot outta the 'murican one in one of the later ones?
Have you had the dream again? A black goat with seven eyes that watches from the outside.

'98 actually; the film that was released in 2000 was from Toho.

    Anyway, did I enjoy it?

As a generic monster film? Sorta.

    As a Godzilla film? No.

He did that to everybody in Final Wars.

    Care to elaborate?

I myself don't consider the film to be phenomenol by any means, but it wasn't neccessarily bad.

For the kind of CGI graphics they had back in '98, it was a pretty decent Godzilla flick. (Although it's been a decade since I've seen it, so I may be basing this off of Nostalgia.

Not enough mass destruction for a Godzilla film, no radioactive breath, Zilla mainly ran away from the military, and he didn't get as much screentime as the hatchlings.

Lest we forget, '98 Godzilla was not the first American Godzilla.

Are we also expecting a teaser trailer at Comic-Con, or just the above sculpture for now?

The next question I ask is going to be a very important one:

Will there be other monsters for Godzilla to fight?

    Gigan? Ghidorah? Mutant Stalin?

Anything else besides 'Murican GUNS-BOMBS-GUNS Military?

I doubt we'll see any of the other Toho roster in this, but I've seen plot outlines that say that there are other monsters.

I would love a Godzilla vs King Ghidorah blockbuster, but it's easier to introduce him against the military and humans, probably.

From what I hear at places like Toho Kingdom,Godzilla will fight two other monsters, but they will be LP originals.

In the past, Toho has always licensed individual monsters rather than just the franchise along with the entire roster. That's why Marvel, Dark Horse, and Hanna-Barbera always used lookalikes or similar creatures that already existed in that universe.

If the film is successful, then Legendary will talk about getting more of them.

No way is he going to be literally that big, right?

Obvious creative license. He'd be a friggin' walking mountain at that size.

Yeah, that's TOO big. Either that's a bunch of low fog/mist covering the ground, or he's literally standing above the earth's clouds, which means his head would be sticking way up into the stratosphere.

I want Godzilla, not an Asura's Wrath reject.
