I lurk...like a lot.
and in both cases the guy doing the airlifting actually lived
I think??? cant remember.
No you're right, they both survived from a fucking explosion that they say over and over again that it will "destroy the area and kill everyone" lol
though for batman to die is horrific because hes batman, and having someone sacrificing their lives and survive in the end is common for one piece *cough* Bon Clay *cough*

This is awesome! I thought the same when I watched the movie! The whole movie was just a rip off from the Arabasta arc. That's why I don't like the movie but like the arabasta arc even more now.
Maybe we can get more people (who liked that movie) to watch one piece by showing them this and tell them ro read arabasta? XD
Wow, nice find. Did not think of this when watching the movie, guess I was too focused on the movie. It's not like Nolan based it on the Arabasta arc, but the parallels are definitely cool.
And yeah, both survived a ridiculous explosion which should've killed them -.-
The plot is pretty generic. I'm sure you could find a vast number of movies, books, and comics that have a similar to almost identical plot/story points.
Haha that is a funny webcomic thank you for the website Meme Center I am a big fan of the Dark Knight so I also caught that!!
b.t.w. did you notice in the last panel he had sunglasses but he didn't in the earlier ones, methinks an artist mistake?
Now that I think about it, the plots do seem similar.
Wonder why I didn't think of it when watching The Dark Knight.
Oh well, both are awesome.
