meh chapter was alright i guess,

im honestly still wating for the part where they sit down, relax and discuss their little adventures.
these last few chapters have just felt totally rushed into all the action, and now that they are split up which means it'll be more time :P

Yeah I'm guessing while rayleigh was gone luffy not only trained in haki but also taking back the draw backs of each of his gears

No, I'm just confident in my own theory I made back during 509 or so. I don't know if I have a single post on the forum that touches all of it, but if you want to debate it we can take it to the Theories or Devil Fruit thread(s). Here's one semi-random post on the matter though: [Link]

I sorta wondered if something was goin on with that too.

Man this chapter was funny. Was Sanji wearing images of women around him? Looks like the therapy is working. He won't die of blood loss now.

-Coribou has not attempted anything yet against the SHs.

I still think he might be the next crew member. He has nothing to go back to anymore. Plus, it'd be nice to have a Logia in the crew.
I have a ton of reasons for why it's a horrible idea for him to join, but I got the same feeling you did when I read this chapter. It seems like Oda is whitewashing him and making him more useful, which IMO is not good at all. I'd still like to believe Oda will not be crazy enough to let a psychopathic killer join the crew...

He's separated from his crew, but they're definitely not dead.
Returning to the surface yes, in bubbles they were not.

Caribou's brother is clearly drowning and the rest of the crew is floating lifelessly to the surface, which is probably why Zoro cracked that Jellyfish joke cause Jelly fish are fat, have thin appendages (The Caribou Crew have fat bodies in contrast to their skinny arms and legs), and float/drift through the sea.

Luffy training away that shrinking weakness reminds me of dragonball when Goku trained away his tail weakness :D

I think that the Fishman put him there to block the path most used by pirates to reach the sea bottom (and therefore reach Fishman Island), and this was the way they found to stop pirates from reaching their island by this side of the Grand Line (there may be some kind of protection similar in the other side of the red line), and this was done to try and protect their island from pirates, since they are now without the protection that they had thanks to Whitebeard's name.

I suspected this could be the case since last week, but now that we saw that the Kraken was accompanied by a shark using a shirt (which could be a shark from Fishman Island sent there with the Kraken to stand guard protecting that place, and to give orders to the Kraken), and that the shark even tried to wake him up after Luffy knocked him down, my theory seems to have become more likely to be true.

On another matter, I wonder if Cariboo will use this opportunity to attack the crew while the monster trio is lost, the darkness should present several openings for him to attack. And it is worth to mention that he appears to be nowhere to be seem after Usopp awakes in the last page, he may already be planning something.
    Spoiler:

Could it be possible that FI planted the Kraken there sometime over the past 2 years to ward off pirates/slave traders (possibly marines) as an added measure of security since it's no longer under WBs protection?

i had similar thoughts last chapter so i'm glad to see i'm not alone
but que sera sera... we'll just have to see what happens

i got the same impression though i'm not sure what to make of it
maybe he just likes saying "Roronoa" or he a big fan or there's some previous history between the two and obviously Zoro has no recollection
