You know,this one could actually be possible according to me,here's why: Oda a few months ago said he was reading the manga "Rose of Versailles",a manga set during the French Revolution where the main character,Lady Oscar,is basically like this. She is a female but his father,a general,raises her as a male because he wants her to become a soldier. And she becomes the best one. Everyone treat her as a male altough she is female. Maybe Oda took inspiration from that story,who knows!
