Sticky: Re: American Politics: We're in for it now

Good taxation is a form of socialism in that everyone helps provide for common goods (infrastructure, military, healthcare, regulation, education, etc.) that would be difficult to accomplish by...

PAM is really good for paladins and especially for Conquest paladins since it can improve their stickiness even further. You'll be a regular roach motel!

Sticky: Re: American Politics: We're in for it now

The GOP won't be able to push through anything in the House for the time being since Republicans are extremely, extremely unlikely to take it back in 2020 and probably won't in 2022 if Trump is still...

Re: My Hero Academia II - Bhyyyyyyyyy

Horikoshi has way too much fun choreographing Bakugo's fights to take his quirk, right?

    Right???
  5. Re: AP Forums Tabletop Gaming Thread: ROLLIN' DICE AND PLAYIN' NICE

The spell slot recovery ability is definitely pretty neat. I appreciate how they've limited it so it won't be too ridiculous (it's still strong early on though!)

As far as the PAM bonus action...
  6. Re: AP Forums Tabletop Gaming Thread: ROLLIN' DICE AND PLAYIN' NICE

I think my caution in approaching the Wild Magic Barbarian comes from that most of its abilities don't really get stronger, they just get more control over them. And most of those bonus action...

Re: Fan the Hammer: A Mafia Game

That ended up being a pretty decent game!

Kitsune shot kmo on Night 2 and then claimed to be shot, which meant a good portion of the rest of the game was spent wondering if Kits was just making it...

Re: What are you reading? (Literature)

Sanderson's pretty unique in terms of the detail and limits he puts into his magic systems. If you haven't read his Wax and Wayne books already, they're an industrial age remix set in the same world...

An 18 year limit makes for an extremely fair system in which a new Supreme Court Justice is appointed every two years. Each presidential term gets exactly two appointees, barring an unexpected...

Susan Collins has also said she won't confirm anyone in a lame-duck Congress. But it's the human embodiment of a shrug, Susan Collins, so take that with a planet of salt.

Executive orders were rarely used until Ulysses S. Grant in the 1870s and experienced a massive boom in frequency in the first half of the 20th century, topping out at FDR with 3700 executive orders...

Re: Fan the Hammer: A Mafia Game

I lied, I can't sleep. But I'll try to leave you all with a question.

Why, if it were false, would I claim to have received a power in the night? That's an unusual story, and I didn't reveal it...

Re: Fan the Hammer: A Mafia Game

I've already pretty much said I've received a power. A few of my posts today contain hints as to what I got. I expect that I can make it quite evident tomorrow, to the point that I don't think we'll...

Obviously I'm not an advocate for the wagon on me. Sky's wagon is largely born out of inactivity but there have been enough slightly-off posts that I think there's still a decent chance she's scum.

I didn't say you were the only person who noticed the soft-claimed, I said you were the only person who decided to base the absence of a vanilla soft claim as a reason to accuse someone. You have...

My assumption was that you were targeted because you were largely considered to be one of the safest initial Town reads. Active, but not necessarily leaving a lot to go on of you died.

Re: I am the conductor of the meat train!

This is a pile of crap. You've been the one harping on the idea that the Town is all vanilla and that claiming so (something incredibly easy to do because there's no way to prove it) makes someone...

The main problem is you concealing your suspicions and reasoning for half the day, monopolizing everyone's time with it, and then revealing pretty flimsy reasoning.

Re: Fan the Hammer: A Mafia Game

Focusing on the vests is, in my opinion, a mistake. Per the narrative, we were all issued vests at the same at the very start of the game. Its unclear of there's any variation among them.
