    Re: The COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Thread

It's not the CA beaches that is spreading COVID, the virus doesn't spread easily outdoors. It's all the bars, restaurants, gyms, and salons that reopened. Which are now being rolled back. Basically...

Have you all been watching the documentary series for The Mandalorian? Man, I had no idea how amazing The Volume stage was, I really thought they were on actual sets most of the time.

    Re: Lupin the 3rd

Episodes tend to run together when you watch a bunch, so I don't know off hand. There was an episode I can remember where Lupin mostly is just trying to help a kid out, and it's the kid that betrays...

As I've been going through the Red Jacket series, a hero Lupin and non-flirty Fujiko wasn't unprecedented.

Great! Like I said earlier, I'm hoping to get my husband to see the movie with me and hoping it would be a good starting point to appreciate the series.

Just watched Steal Napoleon's Dictionary. You guys were right about the art being a bit shit, but it's ok because the story was good. I'm always glad to have Zenigata be competent and effective...

I always had the impression that Zenigata holds back and only wants to bring in Lupin when it's really deserved. I mean, whenever he really wants to, somehow he captures the whole crew in some fool...

Thanks guys, that's really helpful. So definitely avoid Dragon of Doom. lol.

Thanks for bringing that up, it's something that I've always really loved about that era of animation, but I never knew there was a single person behind it or that it had a name.
