  1. Sticky: Re: 917: ''The Holy Land In Turmoil - Emperor Blackbeard Laughs!''

    You weren't but still...

    I'm talking about Whitebeard here...
  2. Sticky: Re: 917: ''The Holy Land In Turmoil - Emperor Blackbeard Laughs!''

Reread the chapter. It doesn’t suggest that at all.
At most you could say he shook the island a little with his anger, but nothing suggests that him splitting the ocean was due to yelling loudly.
  3. Sticky: Re: 917: ''The Holy Land In Turmoil - Emperor Blackbeard Laughs!''

Pretty sure that was just the aftermath of the massive three day battle they just had. Not him yelling.
  4. Sticky: Re: 917: ''The Holy Land In Turmoil - Emperor Blackbeard Laughs!''

I don't think Whitebeard ever titled the ocean by just being angry.

  6. Re: 915: ''Destruction! The Thunder Bagua One-Shot!''

Kaido’s attack wasn’t pretty lame in the manga TBH, and I’m glad the anime changed it. It suffered from Oda’s typical horrible panelling, and posing, particularly around Kaido, who Oda couldn’t make...
  7. Re: 915: ''Destruction! The Thunder Bagua One-Shot!''

He wasn’t taken by surprise in the manga.
  8. Re: 915: ''Destruction! The Thunder Bagua One-Shot!''

What about him needing to do stretches before he hit Luffy? Doesn't that also kind of show, that even after all that punishment, Luffy's attacks hadn't even stimulated Kaido's body?

Isn't the labelling of the YGP as a terrorist organisation Turkish justification to ethnically cleanse the Kurds from Rojava?

Trump isn't exactly some uniquely bad president. In terms of policies implemented, you could probably argue out of the presidents in the last 20 years, Bush was significantly worse.

I think many people here at least would be very critical of many of Obama's policy decisions. His expansion of the war on terror being a big blunder that a lot of people still dislike him immensely...

Whose willing to bet that people will only be emboldened to reelect Trump, and don't actually care if his actually committed lots of crimes?
  14. Re: 914: ''Clashing at Last - Enraged Luffy vs. Kaido''

    This was that good shit.

The episode animation wise was absolutely insane with a whole host of talents both regular and freelancing on the show. Hell, we even got a fan of the show who posted on...
  15. Re: 914: ''Clashing at Last - Enraged Luffy vs. Kaido''

In the manga Kaido's dragon form got pummelled like anything. I don't get what "sheer driving force behind his strength" was shown in the manga, because I never saw any. Hell, from what was shown in...

  22. Re: 910: ''The Samurai's Legend - The Man Roger Admired!''

Its a tiny detail, that only appears in like 1 or 2 cuts.
  23. Re: 910: ''The Samurai's Legend - The Man Roger Admired!''

Yeah there is. You'll notice how if you go back to a few shots in that scene and notice someone unaccounted for.

  28. Re: 910: ''The Samurai's Legend - The Man Roger Admired!''

    Kiku did.

Kiku was one of the 5 that did.
It was explicitly stated by Kinemon at the end of last episode, or the end of chapter 919.
  29. Re: 910: ''The Samurai's Legend - The Man Roger Admired!''

That was Kiku who travelled with Kin.
  30. Re: 910: ''The Samurai's Legend - The Man Roger Admired!''

This was intended to be in line with the info we had back in chapter 920. You could arguably say they should have changed things in retrospect, but as of chapter 920, which they adapted, we didn't...
