Except when tcats 2011 used his music (and far less of it then Roar does), they *did* credit him

They didn't credit Starr but that's fair enough given 2011 was...

Re: Thundercats hooooooooly shit it's pretty good.

I watched an episode. Heard a load of Bernard Hoffer music. Did they credit him? No? Cool, won't be watching another.

They didn't credit Leonard Starr either. I guess they could at least...

  4. Re: General Sonic the Hedgehog Thread (Now With Less Uncanny Valley Zone)

I really enjoyed the film. Jim Carrey is basically evil Ace Ventura which was amazing. A lot had to be changed but the end product is one of the best video game films ever (which of course isn't...

That was my fave Doctor Who ep probably in about 5 years. Is it a blip or is the show finally turning a corner? Hopefully the latter!

The characterisation of the guest stars was fantastic. My...

Yeah, some of the leaks I read for this a few months back suggest I may not hate it, which is interesting.

Cheers for confirming. Yeah, Sabaody will be about £40 which is a lot for what it is, but as you say most of the others can be bought for peanuts.

Fury from the Deep is the next animation after The Faceless ones:

  13. Re: What is happening? Why are the recent episodes 95% flashbacks?

The current director really doesn't seem to like filler arcs much, which is sad. I think all we get now are the movie linked ones? I'd prefer even an average filler arc to this. I'm not asking for...

I think the problem is that 99% of people who know the addams family know Gomez from either Astin or Julia's performances. And they both did those suave, debonair takes on the character, so this...

Dude playing Jafar in particular. No zing to his lines at all. Especially when you compare it to the 90's one:

You don't need Rare to avoid filler titles.

    First party candidates:

    Super Mario 64
    Mario Kart 64
    Mario Golf
    Mario Tennis
    Yoshi's Story
    Ocarina of Time

  25. Re: One Piece "Episode of Skypiea", new TV Special (25th August 2018)

I expect it's just that they've done everything up to that point now. East Blue is done, Baroque Works is covered by Movie 8, so Skypiea is the next logical thing to condense.
  26. Re: One Piece "Episode of Skypiea", new TV Special (25th August 2018)

So if you're making something that intrinsically is going to be missing a lot of stuff anyway you should worry more about how coherent it is and less about what is anime-only and what is not.
  27. Re: One Piece "Episode of Skypiea", new TV Special (25th August 2018)

Was it? Haven't watched it since it aired, but I was pretty sure there was plenty of manga stuff that was skipped, like the adoption flashback.
  28. Re: One Piece "Episode of Skypiea", new TV Special (25th August 2018)

Yeah, I can't imagine it without Jaya. From Luffy meeting Conis through to the Trials will be where everything is barebones.

No Usopp impression of Sanji I bet. :/
  29. Re: One Piece "Episode of Skypiea", new TV Special (25th August 2018)

Yes. They skipped out way too much. The Nami stuff especially was too short to tell the story well (though finally having the Bellmere death scene done right was nice), and it didn't even have the...

East blue one wasn't very good so I don't have high hopes.

Still, will be nice to see Enel again. They should do his moon adventures at the end as a bonus, that's the cover story I always really...
