Oh wow, I guess I've been so caught up in my new life and then watching one piece YouTube videos, I'd mostly forgotten this place. Sorry about that.


Japan is easy- I'm an anime fan for one, and that grew my love of the culture and studying it.

Thailand has a cheaper cost of living and I've met loads of nice people from there, so its a possible other option

Yeah, that period of construction was a huge pain, but we managed. The tour everytime I look at is becomes better and better. Wanted to travel again and after looking at my Antarctica photos again i wanted to go someplace with snow and mountains. After looking up Iceland tours found this one and was sold

The construction that had displaced us ended at the start of 2021, so we've been done for a year now. As for Iceland, I'm going on a guided tour around the entire country seeing all the iconic scenes. This is the tour that I will be going on with my parents joining me for it.

House has been good, though a few unexpected expenses came up in the year since I've moved in. Back in June AC stopped working and some expensive parts had to be replaced, and Water Heater that had been installed almost 20 years ago broke. On the plus side got some nice new furniture including a really awesome entertainment center for free that someone was just giving away.

Work has been the same, improving overtime as a supervisor but still have a lot to learn, and still really short staffed. Have a little more motivation to push through the harder days since I have a trip planned to Iceland in October, so looking forward to that.

Well moving is task in itself, so I don't blame you for sticking around. The first apartment I was staying in back around 2018 I only moved out of because of the first time I attempted getting a house, and only moved out of the other one since I was getting this house. Always a hassle to pack everything, move to new place, then unpack.

Nice, glad you were able to leave all that since it was hitting you so hard. I didn't realize that your previous apartment didn't have a laundry machine, which I can only imagine how much extra work that made it to do laundry.

Been pretty good, nothing major has really happened to me. A few weeks ago got hit with something that had me feeling sick for a bunch of days, but didn't test positive for Covid. Thankfully just mainly felt sore and fatigued with some coughing here and there, now feeling much better. How have things been on your end?
