One Piece Grand Pirate Figurines Confirmed

Thanks to Tang as always for the continuous updates in the One Piece merchandise world.

Looks like 1999.co.jp has new figurines up for pre-order. If you remember, the Grand Holiday set will be released at the end of November. No pictures of this new set is available at the moment, but it'll be a while before the figurines are released (Late January, 2008).

Stephen's scripts for the SBS of Volume 47 were up a day or so ago. You can bet that AP's SBS 47 section will be updated very shortly. Volume 46 hasn't been done yet since it focuses on the Sunny's interior and exterior design... but I'm currently figuring things out!

Volume 16 titled "Carrying On His Will" will be available at bookstores on November 6. Pre-orders are currently available at Amazon and many other places as well.

(Some may not be interested... but 4Kids' Volume 11 "Tony Tony Chopper" is out on October 30.)

8th Season Piece 11+12 DVD Release Dates

Haven't done one of these in a long while...

If you purchase the official Japanese One Piece DVDs, you'll be interested to know that Piece 11 of the 8th Season (Water 7 Arc) will be released on November 7 and Piece 12 will be released on December 5. They're up for pre-order for 4500 yen at cdjapan.

It was in the Release Log for quite some time now, but as a reminder, the single for Opening 8 "Jungle P" by 5050 will be released on November 11... Hey! That happens to be the birthday of a particular swordsman!

The filler arc, which we'll call the "Ice Hunter Arc", begins!

As well, a new opening - "Jungle P" by 5050. Caps of the opening and episode are provided by crossbones. It seems that some of the beginning of the episode is not filler, which is quite logical if you read the manga beforehand.

Those guys in the last screenshot remind me of Shoujou's Utan Divers...

Portrait Of Pirates Neo-3 Confirmed!

Thanks tang for the news, again!

The highly anticipated Zoro remake and newcomer Bon Kurei (which came to be a surprise) will be available in January 2008, becoming the set representing Neo-3 in the Portrait Of Pirates series!

Zoro is to be sold for 4,200円. He came from Series I, so he was a part of the first three when the Portrait Of Pirates figurines were introduced.

I believe Bon will be sold for 4,725円. He is also the first to have moveable joints, as shown by these images at AmiAmi, and an interchangeable face as shown by the flyer, also at AmiAmi.
