Skypiea Dials

Dials are special shells used only in the Sky Islands. They are equivalent to tools used in everday life. Dials can work for hundreds of years. As long as the shell is not broken, it will retain its power. They use them for light, music and other things. Even to power their Wavers!

Tone Dial - 音貝 (トーンダイアル)
• Used for recording sound, mostly music and voices. It records the sound and then broadcasts it when you push the top of the shell. This dial is only found in the White White sea. Used By: Luffy, Usopp, Sanji (Anime... Accidentally)
Breath Dial - 風貝 (ブレスダイアル)
• This dial must be powered up beforehand by having it face towards the wind. Depending on how long it's pointed towards a wind, it'll emit the same wind when the top of the shell is pressed. However, there is a limit to how much each shell can hold. The Skypieans also place them at the end of ships and wavers to get them to move. Used By: Luffy, Usopp
Lamp Dial - 灯貝 (ランプダイアル)
• Stores light like a lamp. The light inside the shell radiates like a normal lamp. Used By:
Flame Dial - 炎貝 (フレイムダイアル)
• Emits a flame. Used By: Fuza, Kotori, Luffy (Anime), Nami (Anime)
Flavor Dial - 匂貝 (フレイバーダイアル)
• Stores smells. Used By: Hotori, Sanji (Anime... Accidentally)
Vision Dial - 映像貝 (ビジョンダイアル)
• Records and stores images like a video camera. Used By:
Water Dial - 水貝 (ウォーターダイアル)
• Stores water like a water container. Used By:
Heat Dial - 熱貝 (ヒートダイアル)
• Stores heat. It is commonly used within the kitchen, but its uses are not limited to cooking. Used By: Sanji, Shura
Milky Dial - 雲貝 (ミルキーダイアル)
• When thrown, the cloud that emits from the dial hardens, creating a cloudy road useful for travel. Used By: White Berets, Braham, Kamakiri, Enel
Jet Dial - 噴風貝 (ジェットダイアル)
• Ejects air with the propulsion to that of a jet. Used By: Gedatsu
Flash Dial - 閃光貝 (フラッシュダイアル)
• Creates a blinding flash of light. Used By: Usopp

Sky Warfare

As Gan Fall explained at one point, even everyday dials can be used for sky warfare. A Heat Dial with an ordinary lance becomes a Heat Javelin, such as the one Shura uses. Dials used for dangerous wars existed since past times, some even life-threatening to use.

Impact Dial - 衝撃貝 (インパクトダイアル)
• Absorbs impacts inflicted upon it and releases the energy when pressed. It is usually affixed onto the palm with a glove or bandage. Used By: Satori, Sanji, Hotori, Gan Fall, Nami, Usopp
Reject Dial - 排除貝 (リジェクトダイアル)
• One of terrible power, it releases 10x the power of the Impact Dial. It is a double-edged sword that puts the user's life in danger. Used By: Wiper
Axe Dial - 斬撃貝 (アックスダイアル)
• Creates a slice through the air with the power of an axe. Used By: Yama, Kotori, Enforcers

Weapons Utilizing the Dials

Heat Javelin - 熱の槍 (ヒートジャベリン)
• Uses the Heat Dial. Flames burst upon contact. Used By: Shura
Burn Bazooka - 燃焼砲 (バーンバズーカ)
• Uses the Breath Dial. Wiper's bazooka emits the gas in a straight line, and by igniting it, the bazooka fires a blue-white flame, incinerating anything in its path. Used By: Wiper
Burn Blade - 燃焼剣 (バーンブレード)
• Uses the Breath Dial and functions similarly like Wiper's Burn Bazooka to create a blade instead. Used By: Kamakiri
Perfect Clima Tact - 完成版〝天候棒〟 (パーフェクト "クリマ・タクト")
• Uses various dials to manipulate the weather, created by Usopp. Used By: Nami
Kabuto - カブト
• Uses various dials to manipulate the course and power of ammunition, created by Usopp. Used By: Usopp
