The Build Up
For one hundred years a battle has raged across Little Garden: The combatants are Dorry (the Blue Ogre) and Brogy (the Red Ogre), famous pirate captains who once terrorized the world. The Luffy Pirate group lands on Little Garden and quickly stumbles across the two giants, but they are not alone. The infamous organization, Baroque Works also has a presence on the island. When the agents there interrupt the giants' sacred fight, they also incur Luffy's wrath.
The Action
Mr. 3 is the head of the Baroque Works agents at Little Garden, which number two with his partner Miss Goldenweek. He devises a frightening plan that places the Strawhats at his mercy and removes the giants from the picture. He then vows to use his gigantic Candle Service Set to turn everyone there into wax statues! Even after pinning Brogy down with swords and jackets of wax, however, the giant warrior and Zoro vow to fight on. Zoro even goes far enough to cut off his own legs to fight the Baroque Works! Just as the attack would begin, however, a great clatter arises: Luffy, Usopp, and Karoo, who had previously been disabled by Mr. 5 and his partner, burst onto the scene ready to kick some ass.
Luffy starts on Mr. 3 while using his own attacks against the Officer Agent, but the Mr. 5 pair succeeds in managing Usopp and Karoo. Luffy ends up whacking down the Candle Service Set -- which only speeds up the deterioration of the situation -- but a well-timed plan by Usopp destroys the wax set, frees the captives (Zoro, Nami, and Vivi) and scatters Baroque Works. Nami and Vivi finish Miss Valentine in a team effort, one blow from Zoro is enough to handle Mr. 5, and the Mr. 3 pair is taken care of by Luffy and Karoo. Just as the battle ends, though, Sanji arrives at Mr. 3's wax house, where the Den Den Mushi receives a call from Mr. 0!
The Aftermath
After having most of her clothes burned off by the fire Usopp created to destroy the Candle Service Set, Nami is bitten by a Kestia bug. Sanji first mentions his infamous "Mr. Prince" alter-ego and defeats the Unluckies during his phone conversation with Mr. 0, and soon after the crew sets off by way of the giants' Hakoku attack on the Island Eater (a giant goldfish, which is what Usopp mentioned in his early appearances). Nami, however, becomes sick by the Kestia and circles the brink of death...
