Captain of the Akumate Pirates. With a bounty of 60 million, he entered the New World where he was captured by the "Tenryuubito" and became a slave as a part of Roswald's captain collection. As with all slaves, he wears a collar on his neck that's set to explode if tampered with.
Background
Sharlia was Devil Diaz's owner until the day of the crew's arrival to the Sabaody Islands. Despite given tranquillizers, Devil Diaz gave up on the New World and panicked. He escaped to find a way to remove the collar and return to his family, a wife and a kid who doesn't know his father's face. The collar exploded as he ran in the public streets, and was finally put out of his misery by Sharlia.
