Short Summary

It turns out that Dorry is alive, his wound not being fatal due to the dullness of Brogy's weapon, a result of being used in a 100-year duel. With the Baroque Works agents defeated, Sanji speaks with Mr. 0 on the phone, pretending to be Mr. 3. He finds an Eternal Pose to Arabasta from one of the Unluckies. He rushes back to the others, and so the Straw Hats are ready to leave for Arabasta. As they leave, the giants are waiting for them, telling them to keep going straight no matter what, and so the Going Merry is swallowed by a giant fish known as the Island Eater. Dorry and Brogy attack the fish and blow it apart so the Straw Hats can continue their journey.

In-Depth Summary

The episode begins with Brogy crying a great fountain of tears, causing a rainbow to appear. Usopp, Zoro, Nami, Vivi, Luffy, and Carue all look up from below. At that moment, Dorry awakens, and he starts to sit up, still quite hurt. The scene shifts to Mr. 3's wax house, with Sanji remembering that Vivi said Mr. 0 was the name of the boss of Baroque Works. Sanji realizes that he is speaking with one of the Shichibukai. Sanji puts all of the clues together, realizing Mr. 3 was after Vivi's life, and he regrets going hunting instead of protecting her. Sanji then proceeds to talk with Mr. 0 on the phone, sayin that the mission was a success. Mr. 0 says that he will send the Unluckies over to Little Garden with an Eternal Pose to Arabasta due to the mission's success. Sanji looks up and sees that the otter and the vulture have already arrived, but they recognize Sanji as an enemy and start attacking him. Sanji kicks the otter hard, then grabs the vulture's neck with his feet, throwing it down. Sanji then runs back to the Den Den Mushi and says that the commotion was him finishing off one of the Straw Hats. Mr. 0 is shown wilting a flower and says that Sanji gave him a false report, since he said the mission was a success but one of the Straw Hats was still alive. Sanji manages to explain his way out of it, and so Mr. 0 orders him over to Arabasta.

Back with the giants, Usopp realizes that Dorry must have survived because Brogy's weapon was too dull, having been used for 100 years already. Dorry and Brogy then hug, and Brogy declares how he is glad Dorry is alive, even with a miracle. Zoro says that it wasn't a miracle, since few weapons could even still be usable after 100 years. Brogy and Dorry start laughing, but then start hitting each other, standing up and starting to break out into a fight again. The scene shifts to Mr. 0, who finishes his conversation with Sanji, saying he will continue sending messages the same way. Mr. 0 then gets up and tells Miss All Sunday to dispatch Mr. 2 upon Little Garden immediately. Back at Mr. 3's house, Sanji realizes the line was cut. He sees the Eternal Pose to Arabasta lying on the floor near the otter, and so he picks it up. Back with the giants, Dorry mentions that he had completely forgotten about their bounties. As Vivi and Nami watch Luffy and Usopp talking about having a party, Nami gets a bug bite on her stomach. Zoro then mentions how bad it will be to have to wait a year for the Log Pose to set.

Dorry and Brogy offer to help the Straw Hats in any way possible, so Luffy asks for a way to get to Arabasta, but Dorry replies that it is the one way they cannot help. Sanji then arrives and is shocked by the giants, asking if Dorry is Mr. 3. Sanji turns to Vivi and offers her his coat, then sits down and explains that he talked with Mr. 0 over the Den Den Mushi. He explains how he told Mr. 0 that he finished them off, then takes out the Eternal Pose to Arabasta that he found, shocking the others. The Straw Hats celebrate now that they can set sail, and Vivi runs and hugs Sanji, much to his delight. As the Straw Hats get ready to leave, Sanji brings up the hunting contest to Zoro, and Zoro mentions that he won because he got a huge rhino. The Straw Hats then say their farewells to Dorry and Brogy, heading off toward the Going Merry. As they leave, Dorry mentions to Brogy that they can't just let the Straw Hats go, since there is a monster lurking in the sea nearby. Dorry and Brogy pick up their weapons and decide that they're going to help out the Straw Hats.

Back on the ship, Zoro and Sanji continue to argue over who got the largest beast, but Nami puts an end to it by yelling at them to pull up the sails. The Straw Hats begin heading down the river, and Luffy sees Dorry and Brogy standing ahead, as they have comne to see them off. Dorry and Brogy tell the Straw Hats how they helped defend their honor as warriors, and they tell the Straw Hats to continue on head, despite what appears ahead of them, as they will help. Luffy orders that they do as the giants say, to the confusion of the others. As the Going Merry emerges from the river and into the ocean, a massive fish creature rises out of the water in front of them. Dorry and Brogy declare that they will defeat the Island Eater in the name of Elbaf, and so they hold out their weapons. Nami tells Usopp to turn the helm, but Usopp refuses, as they must continue straight, as the giants said. As the ship sails right toward the mouth of the Island Eater, the giants go on about how the Island Eater will excrete islands as waste, and as the Island Eater closes its mouth on the Going Merry, Dorry and Brogy swing their weapons into the water. Great shockwaves go forward and blow the Island Eater apart, and so the Going Merry emerges as the episode draws to a close.
