Short Summary

Igaram begs Zoro to help fight against Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine, when Nami shows up and asks for a reward for safely delivering Vivi to Arabasta. Zoro squares off against Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine, until Luffy shows up and starts a fight with Zoro, angry because Zoro attacked the people who threw them a party. As they fight, Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine try to interfere, but Luffy and Zoro knock them both out.

In-Depth Summary

The episode opens with Igaram opening fire upon Mr. 5, who flicks a booger that strikes Igaram and causes a big explosion, knocking him down. Vivi cries out, but Miss Valentine leaps down with her umbrella, slashing through the tie on Vivi's hair. Zoro pulls Luffy off to the side as Igaram tells Vivi not to worry about him, that she should escape for the sake of the homeland. Vivi squares off against Mr. 5, spinning her Peacock Slashers, but Mr. 9 stands up to to defend her. Mr. 5 fires another booger at Mr. 9,causing a huge explosion that sends Mr. 9 flying. Igaram grabs onto Zoro's leg, begging him to help out, since Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine both have Devil's Fruits abilities. Vivi understands the situation and climbs onto Carue, fleeing from the scene. Igaram explains to Zoro that the kingdom of Arabasta lies to the east, and he must help defend Vivi, the princess of the kingdom. Nami shows up, hearing of the handsome reward, and asks that it be one billion berries. Zoro is shocked to see that she is still standing. Nami asks about the reward, but Igaram replies that if they deliver the princess safely to Arabasta, they can negotiate the reward with her. Nami gives in, then tells Zoro to get moving and save Vivi. This causes them to argue as Luffy wakes up at last and leaves.

Nami and Zoro continue to bicker, Nami reminding Zoro of the debt back from Loguetown, how Zoro said the deal would be three times the amount. This makes Zoro furious, since he did pay back the money, but Nami refuses that it wasn't enough. Zoro, livid, leaves to go save Vivi. Igaram then tells Nami that if Vivi dies, it will be the end of the Arabasta kingdom. Meanwhile, Vivi continues to flee on Carue's back, making for the cactus rocks. She screeches to a halt when there is an explosion ahead of her, and standing amid the smoke is Mr. 5. Vivi continues to flee, and she encounters Miss Monday, who pledges to protect Vivi, carrying a large log. Miss Monday tells Vivi to flee, who reluctantly does. Miss Monday and Mr. 5 then square off, and Mr. 5 charges at Monday, avoiding the log she swings at him. Mr. 5 clotheslines Miss Monday, resulting in a huge explosion that takes her down with one attack. Mr. 5 explains he has the power of the Bomb Bomb Fruit, and Miss Valentine floats over Vivi, explaining that she has the Kilo Kilo Fruit so she can change her weight. She steadily increases her weight as she falls, using 10,000 kilo press and landing beside Mr. 5.

Vivi declares to Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine that she will survive and return to Arabata, so Mr. 5 uses Nose Fancy Cannon. Zoro leaps down and deflects the booger with his sword, then freaks out about having to cut snot. As Vivi gets ready to fight, Zoro knocks her slasher away with his sword, telling her to flee. Meanwhile, Nami and Igaram continue to talk, and Igaram explains that Baroque Works is an underground criminal organization where the agents don't know each other, and they commit crimes without knowing the boss. He continues that the final operation for Baroque Works is the "Ideal Nation" plan, where they are to create a perfect nation run by Baroque Works. Igaram explains that Mr. 0 is the codename of the boss of Baroque Works. Meanwhile, Mr. 5 asks Zoro why he is protecting Vivi, who replies that he has his own reasons. Their showdown is broken up when an irate Luffy shows up, yelling at Zoro for attacking the townspeople, who were so kind in throwing a nice party for them. Luffy yells that he won't forgive Zoro, and Miss Valentine says that they should just kill Zoro and Luffy.

Before Zoro can explain the situation to Luffy, Luffy charges and swings his fist, breaking a building apart. Luffy and Zoro engage in a great battle, so Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine take the opportunity to charge at Vivi. However, Zoro kicks Luffy away, sending Luffy driving into the two agents, sending all three crashing into a building. Mr. 5 then blows up the wreckage of the building, and Miss Valentine emerges from the smoke, flying toward Zoro. Luffy emerges from the wreckage with a very battered Mr. 5, Luffy now thin again, and Vivi is amazed that Luffy could defeat a Baroque Works Officer Agent. Zoro tries to explain that the townspeople were enemies, but Luffy doesn't buy it. Zoro steps aside to put on his bandana as Miss Valentine comes crashing down behind her, her 10,000 Kilo Press missing. Luffy uses Gomu Gomu no Bazooka while Zoro uses Onigiri, and the two sides clash, pushing against each other. Zoro says that it is the chance to see if a swordsman or fighter is stronger. They attack each other with Tatsumaki and Gomu Gomu no Pistol respectively, and they are both sent crashing into buildings. Vivi then sees it's safe to make her escape, but then Luffy and Zoro emerge, clashing again. Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine get back up, and so decide it's time to show them what they can do. As they run toward the battle, Luffy and Zoro yell at the two agents to shut up. Luffy and Zoro each take out Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine with a single attack as the episode ends.
